Course Description

<p>The programme is made up of 9 classroom based modules, 3 virtual classroom sessions and will also require some self-directed learning. The Senior Leadership Programme will require a significant time commitment. The Rail Industry Leadership Programme consists of classroom based modules (9 days in total), virtual classroom sessions and self-directed learning. The Programme focuses on the following key leadership areas for the business: 1) Safety Leadership, Personal Leadership Capability, Performance Conversations, Leading Communication, A Customer Driven approach and all under pinned by the Network Rail behaviours. 2) The final part of the course is an optional 2 day module. Virtual Classroom - These compulsory WebEx sessions contain the theory and models which support the programme. It is important that all delegates attend all WebEx sessions.</p>

Audience

This programme is designed for leaders at or very near the top of their organisations. RILP aims to bridge the gap between ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’ and covers all aspects of leadership. All elements are under pinned by the Network Rail behaviours. Typically bands 1 and 2.
